Time is an illusion of past, present and future. It surrounds and confounds us as it fills our life with purpose and understanding, and although measured through seconds, minutes and hours, these are little more than mans own attempt at definition.

 

The purpose we get through time comes from its limitations; we set our alarms, celebrate our birthdays and count down to the new year. We all have limited time available and our consistent awareness of this drives us further and further forward. We invent faster computers and faster cars, we race each other to be the fastest. This constant need for faster development is creating a society that is evolving not within the constraints of time, but because of the constrains of time; no longer following it, but making it.
