8/25/2007 TreeShe scatters seed to ground
Its late when the springtime trees are found
She watches as they bare new life
Admires, tires as they bristle in the darkest night
She sweeps away the fallen leaves
And tends and feeds these growing trees
One by one they die and fall
But one tree stood amongst them tall
This last one its roots dug deep
Its branches made for her to sleep
It grew her fruit for her to taste
And stood by her through winters brace
One day she woke, the tree was gone
And in its place a man stood on
He held her in his branch like grip
And thanked her for the love. They kissed
8/16/2007 HeavenInvisible to some and to others, no-one But to her he's the one and her world he's become Tears fall down over the lips she kissed, he cries Waterfalls and the bluest skies in his eyes Its heaven and the world falls behind When they touch and kiss and they stop time Just him and her and the love they make The lives they live, the hearts they break |
